Rodolphe Saadé



CMA CGM Executive Officer of CMA CGM, was born in 1970.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal where he majored in marketing.

Rodolphe Saadé got his start in business selling water coolers for Dynamics Concept in Lebanon and in Syria, a company he founded and where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In 1994, he began his career at Compagnie Maritime d’Affrètement (CMA) with a training period in New York. Very quickly he was appointed Director of the Northern Europe/Far East line, based in Hong Kong.

From 1997 to 2000, Rodolphe Saadé was back in Marseille, where he was successively Director of the United States/Mediterranean, Far East/Northern Europe and Far East/Northern Europe/US West Coast lines.

Appointed Director of the Transat & TransPacific line in 2000, he was named Vice President of the line in 2002.

In 2004, Rodolphe Saadé joined the Group Executive Board as Chief Executive Vice President of the North/South routes. He is in charge of managing and developing regular lines on the routes to North America, Central America, the Caribbean, South Africa, West Africa, Australia and the Indian Ocean.

In addition, Rodolphe Saadé was appointed in 2006 to expand Delmas lines in West, East and Central Africa and the Indian Ocean, and to develop synergies with lines operated by CMA CGM Group and Cross Trade as well as US Lines.

In 2010, Rodolphe J. Saadé is appointed Executive Officer of CMA CGM and Director of the Board.
