The CMA CGM Group and Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise sign a Memorandum of Agreement to operate Lekki Port’s future container terminal (Nigeria)
The CMA CGM Group, a world leader in maritime transport, and Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise (LPLE), the promoters of Lekki Deep Sea Port, are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement to operate Lekki Port’s future container terminal. Located in Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy, the future Lekki Deep Sea Port will be developed, built and operated by LPLE, a joint venture enterprise led by the Tolaram Group, the Lagos State Government and the Nigerian Ports Authority.

CMA CGM (the “Group”) signed an agreement with EQT Infrastructure III (“EQT Infrastructure”) and its partner P5 Infrastructure (“P5”) on June 30th 2017, pursuant to which EQT Infrastructure will acquire a 90% interest in the Global Gateway South (“GGS”) terminal in Los Angeles (USA) for an Enterprise Value of USD 875 million. Following the completion of the transaction, CMA CGM will remain a minority shareholder holding 10% of the GGS terminal, which it acquired last year as part of Neptune Orient Lines (NOL).

France’s CMA CGM & Adani Ports create joint-venture to run Mundra Port’s new container terminal for 15 years
Marseille, France/ Ahmedabad, India, April 25, 2017: CMA CGM, a leading worldwide shipping group and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), India’s leading port infrastructure developer and part of the Adani Group, today signed a joint venture agreement, to operate a new container terminal (CT4) at Mundra Port, for next 15 years with an option to extend it twice for 10 more years.
