It's official: since February 28th, in Congo, the toll has been effective on the first national road between Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire on 511 kilometers.

Road users and hauliers must pay sums ranging from 1,500 F CFA (just over 2 euros) for light vehicles to 40,000 F CFA (nearly 60 euros) for heavy goods vehicles. As a first step, introductory prices were reduced by 50%.

For information, for a truck transporting container from Pointe Noire to Brazzaville, there are 4 tolls to pay for a total of 80,000 F CFA on the outward journey (20,000 CFA / toll) and 80,000 F CFA upon return.

For your information:

Also, no overload will be tolerated above 50 tons (PTAC), which will involve the return of each truck exceeding 50 tons or exceeding the authorized axle load.

Consequently, we recommend not to exceed 26 tons of goods (including packaging) and to respect the following distribution;

- 60% half container/front plate (truck axles)
