Advisory on Free Time for Imports to Distance Greater than 200 Km

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to inform you that as from 1st March 2020 the “Free Time” for imports to distance greater than 200 km, such as but not limited to Tete, Quelimane, Mocuba, Moma, Cuamba, Lichinga and Pemba, but not limte will be of 07 (seven) calendar days and with efforts to keep providing you with the best and most effective service will offer an extension up to 14 (fourteen) calendar days provided that Customer will have Cargo Value Serenity with minimum value of USD 10 and Container Serenity Guarantee of USD 15 for dry container and USD 25 for reefer container, respectively. On top of the extension you will be protected up to USD 5.000 in case your cargo is damaged and if the container is damaged you will be liable up to USD 250 only.

Customer may opt for CMA-CGM to transport the container to “Final Point of Destination (FPOD)” on behalf of the Customer on which demurrage and detention charges will only be triggered 24 hours after arrival at FPOD, subject to Terms and Conditions.
