DELMAS, Africa's expert
Delmas is a CMA CGM Group brand with recognised expertise in shipping to and from sub-Saharan Africa. The company uses its own sales and marketing teams.
Delmas joined the CMA CGM Group on January 1st, 2006. This was a strategic decision that made it possible for both operators to increase their synergies, with Delmas providing the Group with its understanding of the African market—the result of more than a century of experience—and the Group offering Delmas its investment capacity, ships, container fleet and global network.
These complementary strengths made it possible to strengthen existing options and to develop new services, especially from the Far-East and the Indian subcontinent. Services for Southern Africa were increased.
Delmas currently offers 25 direct services to and from every part of the world; its ships stop at 48 ports of call in Africa and service 42 countries. The company puts its staff of 1,200 employees to work for its customers at 58 offices located in 37 countries.
