DELMAS, Africa's expert

DELMAS is a CMA CGM Group brand specialized in container shipping to / from sub-Saharan Africa.

DELMAS joined the Group on January 1st, 2006: a strategic decision to pool synergies from both operators. DELMAS provided the Group with its centenary expertise of the African market and the Group offered to DELMAS its investment capacity, ships, container fleet and global network.

This acquisition permitted to strengthen the existing offer and to develop new services, especially from the Far-East and the Indian subcontinent.

To continue its development and provide its customers with enhanced services, all maritime activities of the CMA CGM Group to / from Africa are gathered into one brand. This is why, effective from 1st March 2016, DELMAS becomes CMA CGM.
