Young applicants

Welcome on board

Offices

When our newly hired staff arrive, either in France or in our international agencies and subsidiaries, they begin an induction programme that teaches them about the Group's history, its corporate culture and business, the shipping industry, and the roles of different players in the container transport chain.

During this special integration period, new employees are able to quickly make their first connections within the company. We wish to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to help them build an internal network of relationships in order to make their integration period successful.

Today's interns are tomorrow's employees

We have for many years now participated in a partnership programme with leading French schools of higher learning such as HEC, ESCP Europe, Centrale Paris, Paris Institute of Political Studies, Kedge Business School (Euromed Management), IAE Aix-en-Provence, IAE La Reunion, Aix-en-Provence Institute of Political Studies, Aix-Marseille University (AMU) and the École Nationale Supérieure de la Marine.

With these schools, we develop outreach programmes with the main objective of helping these students realise their professional goals while preparing them for the reality of daily life in a company.

An internship at CMA CGM is a unique opportunity to learn about the shipping industry, to work closely with our teams, and to get a feel for our corporate culture and values.

Happy Trainees For the 2nd consecutive year, CMA CGM’s Head Office obtained the « Happy Trainees » label and ranked 12th among 480 French companies selected for the quality of their internships and block release training.
