2017 Foundation Awards Ceremony
The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation presented its annual award to the association “SOS Children’s Villages France”. This Prize recognizes the extraordinary work that this association carries out on a daily basis for the happiness and the emotional reconstruction of siblings.
In Lebanon, The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation awarded its annual prize to the SESOBEL association, whose mission is to help children with disabilities and their families.
Launch of the 2018 Call for Proposals: Promoting equal opportunities for children coming from underprivileged backgrounds
The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation for Children is launching its 2018 call for proposals. For this sixth edition, the Foundation will support projects aimed at Promoting equal opportunities for children coming from underprivileged backgrounds in France (Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur only) and in Lebanon. The specifications and application form are available on the Foundation website; all applications must be submitted online, until February 16, 2018.
The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation rewards 13 associations, following the 2017 call for proposals in France and Lebanon
For the fifth consecutive year, the CMA CGM Corporate Foundation has launched a call for proposals and will support projects aimed at improving the quality of life for ill children and children victims of trauma in France (Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur only) and in Lebanon.
2016 Foundation Prize ceremony
The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation for Children presented its annual award to the association “Phonambule” This prize awards the extraordinary work of this association with its musical performances for young children who are hospitalized or disabled.
In Lebanon, on December 22nd, The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation for Children awarded its annual prize to the NGO “KAYANY”, whose mission is to educate the most vulnerable Syrian refugee children in Lebanon and to provide psychosocial support in the context of the crisis.
The CMA CGM CORPORATE FOUNDATION for Children rewards 14 associations, following the 2016 call for proposals in France and Lebanon
For the fourth consecutive year, the CMA CGM Foundation for Children has launched a call for projects. The theme was "Promoting the personal development of children with disabilities" Fourteen associations in France and Lebanon were finally selected by the Foundation, the total amount of financial assistance amounting to € 140,000.
In 2015, the CMA CGM Corporate Foundation celebrated 10 years of commitment towards vulnerable children with the "Children's Wednesdays"
On June 17th 2015, the CMA CGM Corporate Foundation celebrated its 10 years anniversary.
Wishing to share this event with the children of the associations it has helped in France and Lebanon, the CMA CGM Foundation has organized from October 2014 to June 2015 artistic creation workshops, the ‘Children's Wednesdays’. After all these workshops, the CMA CGM Group Foundation for Children decided to gather on June, 17th at the Head Office in Marseilles all the children and the associations who took part in ‘Children’s Wednesdays’. Children were invited to an anniversary party and to discover the exhibition of their works – it was inaugurated on the same day by Marseilles’ mayor and senator Jean-Claude Gaudin.
Given the artistic quality of this project, The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation decided to present the artwork of the children in a museum opened to the public. The miniature containers have been revealed to the visitors during the exhibition "Containers in colors" from 5th December 2015 to 24th January 2016 at le Centre de la Vieille Charité, in Marseilles.

On the occasion of the opening of the "Containers in colors" exhibition in the Centre de la Vieille Charité on Friday, December 4, in Marseilles, the CMA CGM Corporate Foundation for Children presented its annual award to the Marseilles association Ambition Cité for its experimental orchestra project in the Frédéric Ozanam School.
In Lebanon, on December 22nd, The CMA CGM Corporate Foundation for Children awarded its annual prize to the TAHADDI association for their educative and medico-social work that since 2009 has benefited some 2,000 vulnerable children.
Containers of Hope operation renewal
CMA CGM Corporate Foundation renews in 2015, its humanitarian transport project, the Containers of Hope operation, launched in 2012 with the CMA CGM Group, third worldwide ship-owner. The objective is to support international non-profit organizations in their actions towards the most vulnerable populations facing humanitarian crisis, especially children. The operation is renewed with the following ONGs: Action Against Hunger, Doctors Without Borders, Handicap International and the French Red Cross.
Close to 4,000 tons of food and nutritional supplements, medical supplies, hydraulic, sanitation and hygienic equipment, as well as logistical supplies have been transported.

The Festival d’art lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence
Since 2008, the CMA CGM Corporate Foundation supports the festival’s educational program: raising awareness in schools, presentation of the opera professions, backstage visits, introducing young audiences to the Festival’s representations.
