CMA CGM is the pioneer of the Container Sea Transport in Durres Port Albania.

CMA CGM is the first ever Major Line which officially called and offered Durres Port directly since April 2006, through a local third-party Agent (PELIKAN Logistics). 

Thanks to this very courageous and visionary decision of CMA CGM, Durres Port finally entered in the big chain and map of container Ports all over the world with its code ALDRZ, which was coined by CMA CGM.

Thanks to this very important action of CMA CGM in 2006, the Sea Freight Rates for/to Durres dropped more enabling Albanian & Kosova business to enjoy cheaper and competitive rates and a short Transit Time too, also enabling regional customers to Import & Export containers from/to Durres Port everywhere in the world. 

As from December 2014 CMA CGM opened its own branch in Albania, as CMA CGM ALBANIA.

With such presence and participation in the container market and traffic, CMA CGM is one of the key players in Albania, Kosova and all the region around Durres Port.

By putting our customer’s needs first, CMA CGM ALBANIA has established itself over the years as a key player in the market with a reputation for high quality and professional service.
