SOLAS Regulation: Containers Weight Declaration
In order to ensure complete visibility and a seamless transition when adapting to the new SOLAS regulation, we have created a dedicated page on our website to guide you through the new Verified Gross Mass (VGM) regulation.
From July 1st 2016, the Verified Gross Mass will be applied for better container stowage onboard vessels to avoid incident. CMA CGM Group expect to receive the weight prior to planning. A specific SOLAS cut-off will be provided to our customers within booking confirmation.
