Customer Advisory - IMO documentation

Dear Customer,

In order to emphasize the importance of sending complete documentation for IMO cargo shipments, we reinforce, below, all mandatory IMO documents that need to be sent to CMA CGM for subsequent insertion in the PSP (Porto Sem Papel) through the e-mail bma.psp@cma-cgm.com:

✓ MDGF (MULTIMODAL DANGEROUS GOODS FORM) - please always check the name of the vessel, signature and container number

✓ EMERGENCY SHEET - must be accompanied on the back with emergency telephone numbers OR FISPQ (FICHA DE INFORMAÇÃO DE SEGURANÇA DE PRODUTO QUÍMICO)


✓ ATTACHMENT VII (DECLARATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS) - always check the name of the vessel, signature and container number

✓ TANK CERTIFICATE - when applicable

We also emphasize that the documentation must always be up to date for the loading vessel, even if the booking undergoes some type of transfer.

All documents must be sent in a PDF file, separated by document type, and the total file size cannot exceed 5 MB (as per PSP legislation limitation).

The e-mail title must always contain the VESSEL NAME / VOYAGE / BOOKING NUMBER.

It is noteworthy that it is the client's full responsibility to check all necessary documents before sending the documentation, up to the IMO documentation deadline (along with the draft deadline).

The absence of any mandatory file, or not in compliance with the above-mentioned standards, may prevent the cargo from being shipped, and any cost generated will be under the exporter’s account.

We ask the utmost attention with such documentation, as they are essential for loading.
