CMA CGM adds Djibouti to its EPIC service
CMA CGM is adding as from January 2014 a call in the port of Djibouti to its fixed-day weekly EPIC service connecting Europe to India and Pakistan.
This additional call will allow CMA CGM to attend Djibouti imports from North Europe and the Mediterranean with improved transit times.
This new call will also allow customers in Greece and Turkey to exports to Djibouti within short transit time. With CMA CGM weekly MED-Black Sea feeder and BEX service, both connecting in Port Said with EPIC service, customers will benefit from an improved transit time to Djibouti as shown below:
Enhanced EPIC service will also provide export opportunities from Djibouti to Ethiopia and to Aden port in South Yemen.
EPIC new rotation will be effective January 20th, 2014 from Djibouti with MV CC STRAUSS, voyage EPA37E.
It will be operated along the following schedule: Southampton (Sun) – Rotterdam (Tue) – Hamburg (Thu) – Antwerp (Sat) – Dunkirk (Sun) – Le Havre (Tue) – Port Said (Thu) – Djibouti (Mon) – Khor Fakkan (Sat) – Jebel Ali (Mon) – Port Qasim (Wed) – Nhava Sheva (Sat) – Mundra (Mon) – Jeddah (Mon) – Malta (Sun) – Tanger MED (Thu) – Southampton.
