CMA CGM Operations in the Red Sea | Contingency Charge Summary
Further to our our previous Customer Advisories about the situation in Red Sea, several Group vessels have been re-routed from their intended route through the Cape of Good Hope to ensure the safety of our crew, vessels and your cargo.
As announced earlier, the contingency plan is undertaken according to the clause 10 of our bill of lading and will generate additional costs that are eligible for recovery.
A Contingency charge (subject to regulated countries on all cargo including floating cargo) will be applicable with immediate effect and until further notice as follows (amounts in USD):
* For specific origin(s), the charge may be covered by freight
