Class 1

The CMA CGM Group can accommodate the transport of Class 1 (explosive materials and objects as defined by the IMDG Code) under certain conditions, such as cargo route, countries and ports involved, the nature of the explosion hazard, or segregation requirements with other goods on board. Class 1 products are divided into six categories (1.1 to 1.6) based on the nature of the explosion hazard and the sensitivity of the item.
