CMA CGM- Implementation of Export Carrier Haulage

Dear Valued Customers,
In our constant efforts to provide seamless service to our clients, CMA CGM (India) would like to inform that Export bookings from ICD rail locations, which would require Place of Receipt (POR) as ICD location would migrate to CARRIER HAULAGE on LINE PDA.
Scope: Only DRY Units (No Reefers/Special equipment/OOG)
CMA CGM will undertake the RAIL HAULAGE for exports from ICD rail locations. Therefore, same will be invoiced to customers as Export IHC and BL will be issued with applicable POR.
Freight applicability will be the “ICD Handover Date” for all Trades.
Rail haulage and ICD handling costs will be recovered as per our published Carrier Haulage (IHC) tariff below. (*for any specific Carrier haulage request by Road, please feel free to contact our sales rep/Customer Service team)

Customers who would require Merchant Haulage/Shipper PDA, should be guided by the following changes
Example: Place of Receipt (POR) -Dadri via Port of Loading (POL) Mundra to New York.
• Our BL will no longer reflect Place of Receipt (POR) -Dadri. It will show only Port of Loading (POL) Mundra, since haulage is done by customer
• Rate applicability will be the date of container handover at Port of Loading (POL) Mundra.
• Customer will have to pick up empty box from Port of Loading (Mundra) and handover the laden container at (POL) Mundra, within standard Export Free time, failing which Detention/Ground rent will apply as per published tariff below
